Welcome to FRED, an online supplement to Way's Directories. You can find vessels in several ways:
Enter a Way number to go directly to that vessel's Directory entry
Enter search terms to find all vessels that match
View all vessel records on a single page
You can also search for all instances of an individual or of a location, or you can search for all events occurring on a particular date or within a range of dates.

You can also list all boat records (not recommended for slow connections):
1942-10-02: Col. Yell (1234), 2 miles below Dubuque, Iowa. A tear in the fabric of spacetime swallowed the boat whole. The company couldn't continue with this loss and soon folded.
Comments:
Had a good thirty years in the business. Never had a passenger incident of any kind (until the end). Popcorn - like the crew themselves - was good and salty.
